It has always been a dream of mine to have a home here once again as my parents did when I was a child growing up during summers in Cape May. My search led me to 710 Corgie Street - an old Victorian nestled on a quiet street right off the Washington Mall town square. The home had been built back in the 1850's by two brothers who were shipbuilders and added their unique architectural touches. With the help of a wonderful Interior Designer we rejuvenated and redecorated all 9 rooms (plus baths), to once again, capture the essence of this beautiful home.
It was truly a labor of love and it turned out to be just the kind of shore house I always dreamed of with all sorts of different spaces and a large kitchen for dining, entertaining and gathering. This home is not only very new and fresh it still holds the feeling of nostalgia and charm, while at the same time not too fancy that a little bit of sandy feet aren’t welcome as well!
Summer is truly magical in Cape May and 710 Corgie Street is just 4 1/2 blocks to the beach. A lovely stroll where you can even utilize my red radio flyer wagon to transport your beach items.
Fall and Winter in Cape May is even more exciting as you will see from the Calendar of Events below. You will also find an enormous list of activities, such as the Cape May Historical Society Tours, Audubon and Nature Center Programs, The Ferry Ride to Delaware Outlets, Surf Fishing, Whale Watching, Atlantic City, and of course the Beautiful Shops and Great Restaurants open year round!
710 Corgie Street is also available during the Holidays for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
